Saving money is apparently more important than not killing yourself. You know what would really save money? Not buying cigarettes at all.
Step 2: Smoke 4 cigarettes in a row and gross yourself out
That's what finally did it for me. Realizing how much time I was wasting sitting outside on the porch sucking down cigarettes, while on my 4th cig since being outside...
It made me want to test myself to see if I could gain any control over my impulses.
I do chew Nicorette gum daily, so I haven't completely regained control, but its a start, and my lungs thank me. Reminding me to go play some basketball again. I remember it being hell as a smoker.
